Robert J.'s Story

+Hello to my my friends that I have not seen 40 plus years but I have to say that life so far has been a real ride and at this point in my life I wouldn,t have it any other way.The experience of my life came just recently. Our family was like any other family but my sisters and myself drifted apart when we were kids. I just found out that one of my sister's was on classmates. Was that a [shock] surprise after 20 some year's of not talking with her plus I also have another sister that I havn't seen in about the same number of year's so I guess there are other people with the same situation's in there family's.Most of us turned out good and other excelled to higher level's of education like my sister Ruth and accomplished more in life then myself but as we all know education is the key to life as we know it.It's really something when like you are in high school when you are having a good time you just dont think about that.I remember my first real job in high school I worked at the Clark gas station at Belmont & Narraganset Ave after school and pumped gas and washed windows on a lot of you people from Steinmetz and ST Pat's Foreman, where my wife graduated from and have been married to 40 some year's.Some of the kids had there parent's car and I sold cigaretts to almost everybody I knew at Steinmetz and I am sure you know who you were.In those day's I had a 1955 chev and a 1958 chev which were my dad's car's but he let me have them when ever I wanted them.Man those were the day's of fun, fun, fun, and I am sure most of you went to the H.I.P. [Harlem Irving Plaza] and the HUB roller ring and especially the Harlem Irving Drive IN on Forest Preserve Drive and Harlem Ave, and of course Skip's on North Ave Cumberland by Kiddy Land and Polk Bros and of course Russel's on North Ave. Doe's anyone remember the hot dog place on Addison and Harlem?I think it was called Franksville but not 100% sure and how about BOB BO's Hot Dog joint on Irving Park Road near Cumberland also the Elm and Montclare, Will Roger's theater. And yes there was the White Castle at Belmont and Harlem. Those were the best time's of my life and not a care in the world and life was simple.About 6 month's after graduation I enlisted in the United Stste Marine Corp [USMC].and how much fun that was for 5 years. Look at how we messed everything up and here it is 2010 and the world is in upheaval and most complain about everything like the King Labron James circus that was created from a sport's figure. Please give me a break.Well I dont want to bore my friends or want to be's, so I will say chio for now and just wanted to up date my story because I have been lax in that area plus I posted a new photo of myself today so please don't get scared when you look at my photo and all of you beautiful people have a great 2010 and be safe.Your all the best and don't forget to leave your name in my guest book and I will do the same. chio Bobby Eisenmenger I just did"??? WHO IS THIS????????????????? 11/12/2011 life doesnt always turn out the way you want but i found someone that at one time i really loved and we had great times togeather and when i saw that she was still around it made me very happy. When we were both young we did a lot of stupid stuff but that is not rare in young adults.we all make mistakes but the answer to that is you learn from your mistakes. What bothers me the most about people on classmates is when you ask for information the people are to lazy to reply to the people that ask for it and to me that is ignorant. The only info that you ask for is at one time you either went to the same school or somebody remembers you. That is what Classmates is all about memorys.Just a few times that I have asked for either a story or picture doesnt mean anything but people in general are curious of the times when they young and thats all.I knew this girl that I went to Steinmetz with over 45 years ago and we went steady and made the choice to be one and her initials were at that time when we were togeather at Steinmetz were D.L.A and my were R.J.E. and now hers are D.L.B.The only thing that I asked was to let me know if she wanted me to go away and that is all she had to do but no she has not responded to anything so that is what I think about people that when asked for info and dont reply.Talk doesnt require anything but a courtesy to each other.oh well at least I got it off my chest and I feel better for man kind because we are all human and we all have feelings. regards Bobby Eisenmenger 11/16/2011 HELLO EVERYBODY Another beautiful day in the neighborhood on this glorious November 16,2011 and I will say that it is in the 34 degrees at noon time C.S.T. so I can imagine how it is going to be tonight.Did anybody get a invite to the reunion for 2012,I think in June?I think if my memory serves me right it is for 64,65,and 1966.but I am not really sure.It is suppose to be in Chicago in a forest preservein Shiller Park Illinois.I will check to see if I got my info right or my memory is going south which is a possibility. Thanks to all of you people I have 274 autographs in my guest book and that is cool in itself so please keep them coming.I am going to go for now so all of you guys and girls have a great Thanksgiving and Christmas / New Years and be safe.See you all later and joy to the world. You people are the best. CHIO Bobby E. HI from you know who Bobby E. 11/23/2011 I forgot to explain some of my pictures like I said that my mind is going south. Those two cats on the couch togeather are brothers and were born on July 4,2000 and are persions and the other is there sister and she is an exotic persian from the same mother but a differant father but I love them all.The Blue Smoked [ gray white ] is Boots and the dark that is sitting next to Boots is called Maverick and he is the ALPHA male of the litter and then there was...Expand for more
the girl named ROXY and all of them are fixed but they all have there claws and we believe that when you take the cats claws out it changes the cats personality besides we purchased them from a cattery {breeder ] and they require that if you intend to mate any of them she gets the pick of the litter and extra 500.00 .We paid $ 500.00 each so we thought that was enough and we had them nurtured and they are great.Second thing is there cat tree that was specially made and it is pretty cool.It is made from a tree and that is why it is so big and it weights 600 lbs and as we all know cats claws can climb up trees and they really love to play in it plus there are ropes hanging from it and the price for that is the price of a condo but as long as they are having fun thats all that matters. My son is the one in his prom waiting to go with his 1971 Olds Cutlass which was a cool car until he had a accident at 17 years old and then him and me got to know each other because we both worked on his car for 4 months to repair it and I found a junk car with the parts we needed in Florida so we both went down there with a trailer and we brought it back to Illinois to fix his car. What a father and son relationship, but we got it done. The other pictures are people I know so I am waiting for the rest of you to sign my guest book so just maybe we can talk to someone I havent seened for 45 years and also my Steinmetz Class Ring that only one girl had that ring and she knows who that was but I wont bother with the details unless she gives me the o.k.Thats all for now but I will update details when I get them and like I said before all of you have a safe and happy hollidays. CHIO Bobby E. Hi to all my friends 10/22/2012 Here we go into the fall season here in Chicago area and everything is so colorful at this time of year.It would be hard to move out of the area because I remember the spring time summer, winter and if you have lived with that all your life the memorys are still there and all the good times you had then with all the fun carefree moments good and bad but were all things that happened in your lives that you will never forget.as we get older the time that you have seems to go so fast that sometimes you dont have enough time in a day to get it done so when you retire you ask yourself what am I going to do with all your free time.we also have to elect someone to run our country in the right directsion what ever that is.dont these poliititions know that the american people are so fed up with all the name calling and who is getting what and also doing what.that job that they have must be really good to put up with all the abuse they get and still smile about it.I think that all the polititions should have term limits like 4 years max and I think that the country would be a lot better off instead of careers and all the perks and medical coverage and some of the pensions they get. Most people are just getting by because our nest eggs are all but gone and you have a house that isnt worth to much anymore and also if you put some of your savings in a 401 k or anything in the stock market ,you loss money and if you didnt you are one of the lucky ones.I really dont no why I am writing my thoughts here today maybe it is my bad mood I feel today but I think that I am going to sign off for now so I dont bour you with my words and I cant even spell or see very good today so I will bid you addo for now and I love all of you so all of you have a great day ,week, month. love all of you Bobby E. 11/14/2013 Hello everybody I hope that everybody is happy and healthy for the new 2013 year. I haven't heard from too many people and I know that it's got to be quite a few people still alive because not everybody can of died by this time only. We're all still pretty young at heart or at least I know I am and I'm happy and I've been married 43 years to the same woman so it's been a good run my life and hopefully for everybody else. Me and my wife did something that we would never do again long as we live and that is to move out of your home that you waiting for 35 years and we were kind of all the be doing any kind of moving so we get movers to move us out to Del Webb sun city in Huntley Illinois cannot tell you what it is really nice out here and they have everything that you would want to do. Our mistake was waiting until we were in our 60s to move and I'll tell you what I would never do that again ever. We had to move not because we wanted to but it was because there was too many steps in the house and it was getting difficult to go up and down the steps so we went and bought a ranch house one level Del Webb Sun City. I was really thinking of moving out the Del Webb out in Arizona but my wife and myself we really didn't want to leave the kids we got a boy and a girl and they're adults but we don't want to leave them here by themselves. Our health has been somewhat fair but we still get around and we're still able to do things for selves but I tell you what I never thought in my wildest dreams that you would feel like this when you got into your 60s. I am going to be 68 here in February 2014 and I feel like about the heart five but that's from all the fun I had it Steinmetz and canty grammar school ha ha. I wish I would hear from more people from 1965's graduation at statements and especially people from canty grammar school when I was there it brings back such memories hey all were good. You wonder where all the people went and it's hard to imagine that all he chewed all the kids we would to school with iron nowhere to be found even knew people that are finally coming into classmates it is hard to believe that there is more but I guess people have their own interest at heart and in my lifetime I have no regrets I am happily married happily having children and life in general so with that I'm I will say goodbye for a while but I will be back because I give my yearly rundown I was going on in the EISENMENGER family and I love all you guys and hope to be talking to you soon love Bob and shirley eisenmenger.
